This is one of the portraits I toke of Nicole for the complementary color series. Converting it to gray, you can pay more attention to the features of her face rather than color being the dominant feature.
Here again, instead of color being the focus, it is the organic curves of Nicole's face.
The original photo has the dominant colors of pink and yellow. With it being converted to black and white, line and shape are more dominant. You can now see the veins of the flower petal, and the shape in which they make. I believe there is also golden spiral in this photo as well.
