Black and White Photos

For my first photo I tried to imitate the work of Paul Strand. I tried to find a building that used intresting shapes for my subject. I like this photo because of the contrast between the geometric shaped building and the organic lines of the concrete, railing, and shadows.
For my second photo I tried to imitate Ansel Adams. I was unable to find a good spot for a landscape so I took a flower photo similar to several that he created.
My final photo was taken using Sebastiao Salgado's style. I went into Sacramento and I asked a homeless man if he would allow me to take his photo and he agreed. I tried to make it feel like more than a portrait by not taking a picture of him looking up at me.
