I noticed the bees on the sunflower and though it would make for a interesting photo. I tried to keep the rule of thirds in mind. I find that the vertical and horizontal lines match up with the bees on the head of the sunflower. I enjoy the light that shines through the sunflower as well as the negative space. I feel this is a visually pleasing photo.
. I toke this photo while I was at Bishops Pumpkin Farm in the gift shop. It caught my eye because it had complimenting colors. The vertical line of the rule of thirds graph, lines up with the body of the butterfly.
For the partner photo, I asked my brother to be the subject of it. I tried to capture his stunning eye color while still applying the rule of thirds. I tried my best to get the horizontal and vertical line to meet with his eye but it is slightly off.
